This so funny book that laughing is guaranteed. Author of this book, Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was an English author of almost a hundred books of novels and short stories, and one of the best humourists in the 20th century. He is the best known for Jeeves, Blandings Castle, Psmith, Ukridge, Uncle Fred and Mr Mulliner. “Uncle Fred in the Springtime” is the novel which is set in Blandings Castle with Uncle Fred as the main character. Lord Emsworth, owner of the Blandings Castle, invited Uncle Fred to castle in order to help him to save his pig, Empress of Blandings, from the Duke of Dunstanble. However, uncle Fred decided to go there with his nephew Pongo, and to disguised as the brain specialist. Of course, this will put uncle Fred in lot of troubles, which he sees as challenges, and finds funny and unthinkable ways to overcome them.

I love how this book mix humour with every problem, and how characters always find easy and sometimes funny ways to solve their problems. Reading this book, I feel like life is playground and how often we think of a lot of things as a problem when in reality there are not. Wodehouse’s characters show us not to take things in life so seriously and that sometimes change of perspective is all that we need.

I recommended this book whenever you want to laugh, stop thinking about problems, or just to enjoy good book with great characters.
