This is the great book about about human consciousness and inner transformation that can change and improve whole life on Earth. Author of this book is Eckhart Tolle, who is spiritual teacher, public speaker and author of books “The Power of Now” and “A New Earth”, whose teachings positively influenced lives of many people. “A New Earth” is the book that goes step further from the “Power of Now” describing how changing themselves people can change planet and make it better place for living.

In this book author focuses on explaining ego, consciousness, manifested and unmanifested parts of our Being. Ego is explained in few chapters and author teaches us what is Ego, what is content and structure of Ego, how to recognise products of our Ego, how to become free from our Ego. Also, author describes “voice in the head” as growing problem of today’s society. And “voice in the head” means our constant thinking, living in our heads, remembering the past and imagining the future, while present moment becomes just “means to the end”. This way of living only brings suffering to the people since only time that we really have is present time, and when we are focused on the present moment we will feel great joy and aliveness.  Also, author explains how to find inner purpose, how to be consciousness in daily life and why is that important and life changing.I like how author uses different stories to describe and explain his teaching, since it made it much easier to understand and remember.

I recommend this book to everybody who needs little spirituality and presence in life, since it’s great book that can be used as a guide for conscious living. There are lot great and useful teachings in this book, so I had hard time to choose my favourite quotes from the book, but some of them are:

“What the future holds for you depends on your state of consciousness now”.

“Both abundance and scarcity are inner states that manifest as your reality”.
